OOC: I will not have the Starkiller's Pride take part in events shown in Episode 8 regarding the fleeing ships being picked off. Marcus will take a small group of evacuees to investigate an SOS from a freighter being attacked by pirates. Also, I figure Raptor Squadron will still be flying the old T-65 X-Wings, but updated to newer specs. Heck, they still have Galactic Civil War era flightsuits.

OOC: The T-70 is a smaller ship with better performance than the beloved T-65B. Besides, the T-65 was completely phased out in favor of the T-70, and later the T-85 (which I want to see more of). And I hated that scene with a passion, so I’m saying that the First Order can’t track in real time, but can within thirty minutes, and there will be no worries about fuel.

OOC: Ok. But Marcus and Ivanova still have the tandem X-Wing from the Galactic Civil War era, but have modified it a fair bit so it is able to fight alongside the T-85. The rest of Raptor Squadron will use T-85s though.
IC: "Oh, I almost forgot, the Starkiller's Pride still has a hangar full of T-85s." Marcus says. "Don't let that rocketjock Poe know about them or he will want one."

“The T-85’s great, but I’ve fallen in love with the T-70,” says Poe as he passes by, “especially Black One.”
OOC: Poe, in The Rebel Files, notes that the T-65’s specs are still pretty good when compared to the T-70 (and he’s always happy to fly a T-65), so I have no problem with the Tandem X-wing receiving some minor upgrades.
