Kain walks out of the War room and heads down to the Nexu Squad room on board the ship. He tried to think about how he was going to explain to his brothers and Flashback that this could be by far their deadliest mission in the entire war. He soon enters the room.
Snipe: Sergeant on the deck.
Snipe stands at attention.

Kain: We are to capture Viceroy Nute Gunray and his staff from his Fortress on Neimoidia. Mynock and Sarlacc squads are also going to take part in this mission as well as the 149th Strike legion.
Snipe: Sarlacc squads two troopers down how effective will they be.
Kain: General Kass Cuwil is going along with Sarlacc Squad.

Kain: In that Flashback you are correct, this mission is Suicide, but since this mission was handed down from Chancellor Palpetine we have no choice but to follow it understood. Now You boys get some rest then get your gear We'll be in Neimoidian space in 14 hours. Dismissed.
Snipe went back to cleaning his rifle, but then piped up.
'Snipe': I take it since the General is joining in the hunt that She is expecting that everything will go as planned.
'Kain': Actually she thinks this is a wild bantha chase and its My fault she's going down planet side. I intend to talk to her before we get there .
and with that Kain walked out of the squad room on his way to the General's quarters.

General Cuwil and a "guest" are in her quarters. This so called "guest" is an attractive male raccoon, and a member of the Republic Navy. Kass Cuwil and this Republic officer, whos name is Ro'Beert Trok, have started a secret relationship.

Kain smirked as the door opened, he was a commando he knew when someone was trying to hid from him. He than looked Kass dead in the eye.
Kain: First maybe you could have who ever hid in the closet to come out. Second I'd really like to talk about this mission with you on a more personal level.

Kain: Well for starters you Not joining Sarlacc Squad in the raid on the fortress.
Kain stated this in his typical style.
Kain: the reason I say this is like i said at the briefing we have no way of knowing if Gunray is there and how many or what types of droids he has.

General Cuwil: I was going to take part in the assault anyway. If you preferred, I would acompany your squad, while I will temporarily assign Sarlacc Squad to Mynock squad.

Kain: I have no problem with you assigning Sarlacc to fallow Mynock leader, But I still think you joining in on the raid isn't what you should do ma'am. After all It is what we clones were made for.
Kain didn't flinch as he spoke. He meant every word he said, everything but what he said about his brother clones.

Something inside Kain knew what it was she was talking about but it was that same part that kept him from saying it.
Kain: Well I'd preferred that the order was never given, I've seen far to many of my fellow clones get killed out there I've all ready lost a batch brother I'll be damned if I loose any more.
Kain was now a bit upset at how the Republic viewed him and his brethren.

General Cuwil: I don't care what the rest of the Republic says or thinks about you and your fellow clones. You are more then flesh and blood droids. You are living beings and as such, whne you loss a brother, you are all affected. Don't worry, I will personally make sure nothing happens to any members in your squad. You have my word. Oh, and another thing, do you have a name? I don't like the idea of refering to every clone I meet as "trooper".
