It has been two years since the Battle on Geonosis that Hailed the beginnings of the Clone Wars and the hunt for Darth Sidious has begun. A hunt that reaches across the stars even to the planet of Neimoidia, home world of the Trade Federation. On board the Acclamator II-class Halcyon many squads of clone troopers have gathered to prepare for an Assault on Neimoidia to capture and question Trade Federation Viceroy Nute Gunray. One such squad is the Nexu Commando unit, Lead by Sgt. RC-211873 'Kain'.
Inside the room used by the Nexu squad Trooper RC-211875 is busy cleaning out the barrel of his blaster Rifle. Whistling an odd little tune to himself. As for the squad's leader he was with the other Commanding troopers getting the new orders from the General on board.

An attractive female raccoon walks into the war room of the republic starship. Her name is Kass Chuwil, and she is a Jedi Knight who was recently given the rank of General. General Chuwil: Ah good, everyone is here. We can now begin... As you all know, we have been sent to the planet Neimoidia to try and capture Viceroy Nute Gunray and his staff. There will be many risks involved, but this mission is of utmost importance. The 149th Strike Legion will provide as a decoy, luring away most of the droid forces assigned to Gunray's fortress. Three commando squads will try and infiltrate the fortress itself. These three units will be Nexu, Mynock, and Sarlacc Squad. Kain stood up and looked General Chuwil dead in her eyes and with a slight hint of sarcasm in his voice asked.
Kain: No offence General but I don't think we need three Commando squads on a mission like this.

General Chuwil: Look, I'm not the one who came up with that idea. The orders came directly from the Chancelor himself. He says that the chances of success will be much better if there are three squads sent in.

Kain sits back down. He feels that this whole assault is pointless since Darth Sidious isn't even on that world.

RC-627990: Yes, I have one. Why is Sarlacc Squad being sent on this mission? We are undermanned! I mean one of my men is dead, and the other is in the med bay! There are only two of us right now!
General Chuwil: Your out of line trooper!
RC-627990: I am sorry General! But why!?
General Chuwil: The three commando squads that are on this mission are the only squads in the sector. Got it? Good.

Kain: I have one other question general. What should we do if Viceroy Gunray should try to retaliate?

General Chuwil: Use any means nessecary, but we need him alive. If you have to, you can disable him, but DO NOT KILL HIM.

Kain sat there thinking to himself. In his mind this mission is doomed. He has a rookie general, a fellow commando unit at half strength, and the force only know how many droids the enemy has.

Kain stood up once more.
Kain: I think this mission is a failure right now. We have one commando unit undermanned, and on offense but as generals go your still a bit to green for this mission. Now with that said I suggest you take Sarlacc Squad as your personal guard, since I know you will be down on the planet, they are good troopers and it will help them not get obliterated.

Kain: Not at this point in time general.
Kain crossed his arms. He didn't mean to have the general join the assault. Despite her being a Jedi he didn't think she was ready for it. " I think my unit should Shadow Sarlacc just in case they go down and leave the general completely outnumbered.

General Chuwil: I am flattered that you care for my safety, but I am more then capable of protecting myself. Although I have only just become a general, I have already led different units of the GAR as a commander.

Kain rolled his eye. he had forgotten that the Jedi are very good at reading others, but his concern was well founded since they were going into enemy territory and try to capture a prominent Separatist leader the chances would be slim on them getting out alive.

General Chuwil: I am afraid I must agree with you on that trooper. I just don't see the logic in this assault. I feel like we're on a "Wild Bantha Chase".
