“How many times have I told you that I don’t do weapons, you kriffin’ bosh’tet?” Kari yells at a particularly stubborn person who keeps trying to get her to fix his weapons.
OOC: I’m using a Quarian swear word from Mass Effect to serve as a word from a spacer’s language.

Kari beats him to the draw with a heavy blaster pistol. “This is the last straw!” she snarls. “Get your frakking ass outta my shop and don’t come back!”
OOC: For Kari’s blaster pistol, imagine the mods made to the Mauser broom handle 9mm pistol to create the BlasTech DL-44, but on the frame of the Colt M1911 MEU(SOC) pistol. I’m also assuming that the spacer was going for his blaster.

An hour later, the spacer returns with his gang of thugs. The spacer tosses a flash grenade into the shop.

Kari sees it coming and drops down behind the counter, hitting the silent alarm button as she does so. I really hope that the constabulary is really on the ball today, she thinks as she quietly pulls her blaster out of its holster and prepares to return fire to defend her shop and herself.

IC: A nearby Jedi on walkabout hears the commotion and goes to respond. He sees the thugs storming into the repair shop and goes to intervene. Though Master Tygart is what is known as a Jedi Brute, there are times when he leaves the Temple to walk among the citizens of Coruscant. Enters the shop and ignites his double blades lightsaber. "Stand down in the name of the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic." Tygart states. "Kark you Jedi!" one of the thugs barks in response as they shoot at the Jedi Brute. Tygart easily deflects the blaster bolt back at the thug's weapon hand. OOC: This is Master Tygart later on during Operation Knightfall. www.furaffinity.net/view/6414936/ |

This is the moment Kari chooses to pop up and fire, having switched from kill mode to stun mode on her blaster upon hearing Master Tygart. She takes a certain vindictive glee in targeting the thugs’ privileges with the stun bolts.
OOC: In other words, she’s shooting them in the balls.
I remember us using Master Tygart as Kari’s Jedi Master in the recently concluded Clone Wars AU RP…
