Valkrii Hadar, along with her brother, Wulfgang Hadar, where walking towards the central meeting area of the clan Hadar estate. Though technically still early, they were the last ones to arrive in the grand hall. Though the people who filled the hall were all of clan Hadar, there was a growing scism between the partiarch and matriarch, and the family was starting to divide along them. The reason for this scism? The marriage of the "traitor" to another clan that had been friends with clan Hadar for sometime. But it was not the marriage that caused the trouble, but rather that it was a polygamous one. The patriarch's side wanted calm and acceptance for what happened, but the matriarch's side demanded blood for this outrage. While both Valkrii and Wulfgan were on the matriarch's side, they were worried about who bad the fued could, and probably would get.

Vaalan Hadar walks down the long corridor leading to the grand hall. He is very worried about the current state of HIS clan. The reason he allowed the marraige to take place was because he didn't want to start a war between the various clans on Mandalore.

Asli Hadar, along with the rest of the clan, is waiting for Valaan to arrive. Asli herself is currently feeling particularly rageful, and is eager for the debate to begin, which is VERY likely to be quite heated. A good portion of clan Hadar, particularly the women, are on HER side, and that number might just grow after the meeting. If neccessary, she and her supporters will divorce themselves from the clan, and if this is resisted, well, she feels if blood must be spilled, so be it. Asli is very angry at her husband to allow this gross violation of honor, the marriage of a Hadar into a polygamous marriage. Regardless of the outcome of the debate, she will, at the very least, divorce herself from Valaan.

Vaalan Hadar enters the grand hall, carrying his helmet, and a bag of his few belongings. He sees his wife standing there, along with many others who oppose him. He throws his bag on the floor.
"What I did, I did for the good of thw whole of Mandalore. I admit that polygamous marriage is wrong..." started Vaalan. "But if not for what I did, Clan Hadar might now be at war with Clan Kain!"

Asli spoke. "Nonsense! Clan Kain could have been negotiated with about this matter! I am certain that we would have found support in their own ranks about this matter as well, and could have ended it BEFORE it became a matter of treachery and betrayal! Now, BECAUSE of your actions, Vaalan, there might now be conflict between the clans!"
The members of clan Hadar who were supporting Asli were in agreement.

"I thought as much..." said Vaalan. He pulls out a hunting knife and sticks it to his own neck. "all you have to do is thrust it ni, my dear Asli, and you will be the ruler of the clan. I however doublt you would do such a thing."

The scene goes silent, as members on both sides are in shock... and fear, about what might happen. Valkrii in particular, is worried about what is likely to transpire next. As soon as the silence began, it ends with Asli speaking once more.
Asli: "You guess right, Vaalan, but for the wrong reason. Clan Hadar has been forever shamed and tainted by your actions, so leadership of said clan, is undesirable in my eyes. Thus, a new clan must arise from the ashes of the old, much like the legendary Phoenix rises from it's own ashes."
The members of clan Hadar once again begin to stir their voices, many of which, including Valkrii and Wulfgang, in approval.

Asli: "Yes. I remember the original Mandalorian who started this clan, her maiden name was 'Vexin.' Though that clan may now have been dead for over a hundred years, it is time to bring it to life once more. I officially declare myself to be the Matriarch of the newly re-formed clan Vexin. All who support me, declare your intentions!"
Dozens of voices rang out in favor, including those of Valkrii... but for some strange reason, not her brother, Wulfgang, who was silent, and for the first time in his life, scared at what was happening.

As the meeting adjurns, the newly formed Clan Vexin wonders what their first step to take will be. As soon as they are alone, Valkrii asks her brother why did did not cry out in support of the newly formed Clan Vexin.
Valkrii: "So, Wulfgang, how come I didn't hear your support for our new clan, when it was announced?"
ooc: if any one wants to role-play Wulfgang, feel free to do so, though if no one wants to, I'll gladly role-play him myself.

Valkrii paused for a moment to think that over. "Huh, that thought didn't occur to me until now. But it's like aunt Asli said, Clan Hadar has been forever tainted by the traitor's act and uncle Vaalan's decision. If the clan is to begin anew as Clan Vexin, so be it. I'm sure that things will turn out okay in the end." Vakrii sighs. "I just wonder what the traitor is up to these days, and if she even cares about the damage that she has done."
