Biography
Eva Ashlyn Stavros was born in a safe house belonging to the Osai Syndicate, and smaller crime organization with moderate ties to mass media. With both of her parents working for the group, she has always carried with her the mark of belonging to the dark side of the galaxy.
Eva's schooling and training was given informally by various personages throughout the syndicate. This has allowed her to pick up portions of multiple languages and many street-skills that have served her well, although she would have great difficulty fitting in with 'cultured' society. As she is often in the seedier establishments, Eva knows her way around blasters and vibroshivs, though she prefers the latter.
Her father was killed when she was eight years of age during a prion break at Mytus VII. Arrested six months earlier while running arms through the sector, Matthias found himself taking the chance at a break while the guards were distracted by other, more pressing matters. Unfortunately, he was unable to make his way out of the prison block before it was overrun by guards and was cut down during the intense fighting therein.
Eva's mother was murdered by an assassin working for the Black Sun Syndicate during a spice deal on Nar Shaada. She was fifteen at the time, and a prominent dealer in her own respects, having a nack for finding the high-price deals. The assassain had been tasked with eliminating Eva, but a sudden onset of sickness forced Ivanka to take her daughter's place in the negotiations. Eva used nearly every resource at her disposal, even calling in many favours, to find those responsible. Several months later, a series of explosions went off simultaneously throughout the galaxy, claiming the lives of many Black Sun operatives and even some New Republic officials. Osai Syndicate connections have thus far been able to keep the connection unnoticed.
With a sour deal involving the Hutts, and the subsequent loss of the last head boss, Eva has become just a few short steps from the reigns of the Osai Syndicate. Currently working on the pirating side, she uses her charms to figure out when the expensive goods are traveling, and her captaincy of the Vector to hijack said goods at the best time.
Personality
Eva was given the nickname of 'Fireball' not only because of her looks, but because of her personality. Brash and headstrong, she has charged into things where more sensical persons would have hesitated -- both to her benefit and detriment. To her benefit, Eva is extremely loyal to those whom earn her friendship and trust. Those whom cross her also find that she is very dedicated, never forgetting wrongs committed until they are righted.
(( Currently written for post-Endor, but could work in an Old Republic setting with a few modifications. Will be tweaking for a while anyways, since I wrote this in one night after two cans of orange soda. ))
