Thought i'd post this image, being one of my Star Wars Fanarts...
Description from DA
"ever read Han Solo at Star's End? good read, especially if you're a Star Wars fan."
"anyway, i was (pleasantly) suprised that two of the main characters were anthros. Atuarre, and her son, Pakka, are Trianii, a race of Anthropomorphic feline that live in space controlled by the Corporate Sector Authority. as far as i know, they're a warrior race, and have adopted at least some "modern" (for that time frame) technlology." ((note, i've changed my perspective since i wrote that, and the writings i'm to be working on will reflect that))
"of course, once i finished the book, i just had to draw them."
"I decided to take some liberties from the book. Atuarre originally (as i interpreted it) had a mane akin to that of a male lion. I couldn't imagine that on a female feline, so I decided to go with the neck ruffle from a Tiger instead. For contuguity's sake, I decided to do the same for Pakka. The stripe pattern is based on the one I had laid out for a tabby cat: this wasn't a departure form the book. the clothing, on the other hand, was. by that i mean, they didn't wear anything but a utility belt and holster for their blaster. I can't draw nekkidness. even if the fur covers everything. I decided to go with an adjustment of Vesper Apheleon's outfit for Atuarre (different colors, no cape), and I swiped Monkey D. Luffy's jeans for Pakka."
"look for me to expand on Pakka's character in the future. perhaps even a fanfic!"
