...that I need to work on the book that I was writting a while ago, along with the world data for it. No more procrastinating. No more six-month "breaks." No more distractions. I mean it this time.
Basically, I was tired of reading stories that consisted of "humans in fur suits," that is, anthropormorphic beings that were essentially human in behavior, lacking any quirks and behavior patterns of their real-life counterparts. I was also tired of stories that consisted of little more than yiff and bloodshed. I wanted something unique, something original, something that no one had thought to really do before; in other words, I wanted a book made by me.
At first, it was going to be a series of short stories, but then I thought to myself, "hey, this is too good to be a short story, it should be a book!" I'm calling the book "Anthro Armada." So far, I have 15 pages of actual material, and a few pages of setting data. I believe that if I work hard enough, I can finish it by the end of the year.
Would you like to know more about it?

Basically, it's WWII, except on a galactic scale, with high-tech weapons, and aliens instead of humans. In fact, many of the battles that I plan to detail in the book will be based on actual battles like Operation Barbarossa, Stalingrad, Kursk, D-Day, and hypothetical battles, such as Operation Sea Lion, Operation Olympic, and Operation Coronet.

I've decided to put this project on hold for now; actually, it never really got back off of the ground. Instead, I'll be working on the Role-Playing Game System that I'm busying myself with these days. Anthro Armada will have to wait for a while.

I've decided to put this project on hold for now; *notes the irony of 'meaning it this time* Its funny because I can easily relate; A long while ago I had this idea for a webcomic, or possibly a set of animations, and the ideas I get for it have since accumulated to the point it would be impossible to cover it all in such a medium in a reasonable amount of effort. So instead I've decided to take a fresh step on working on a game engine, and then build a medium in wich I could have them easily added. So what started as a webcomic will *hopefully* end as a mmorpg, For me atleast. Fun how that happens, eh?

Basically, when I first posted this topic, I had just come back from FURther CONfusion, all motivated and such. But then as time went on, my motivation slowly faded away. It's not that I don't want to work on it, it's just that I have other things to do.

Maby in addition to haveing an RP system based on the fantasy world, you colud also turn the plot ideas you had for the book into premade adventures of the sorts.

Actually, I do plan on making an Anthro Armada RPG, should my game system become viable.

ah, cool. Like a video game? I'm working on a game engine on my spare time. Maby by that time, I'll have enough done for it to be usable by other people It is a sprites based mmorpg type engine, but I plan for it to be very custamizable, and later on, I'll add suport for 3d.

No, not a video game, but a pencil and paper RPG; though I do have an idea for a MMORPG that I'd like to work on someday.

No, not yet. I simply have too many things to do and so little free time right now to work on computer programming.

I may not be working on the actual Anthro Armada book, but I am working on stuff related to it.
Actually, now that you mention it, I think I really should work on the book. Maybe I will have it finished by the end of the year...

I was just working on the book, when I realized something; that something is that I need input from other people. Not just any people, but people who are also into the Sci-Fi and Furry genre.
So, here are the questions:
1) If you were going to read my book, what would you like to see in it?
2) About what would the general rating be ideal to read? I myself am leaning toward either PG-13 or R, as I don't want this to be affiliated with children like what happened with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
3) Would any of you guys like to read what I have so far?

Just to show you how much free time I have, I just began the personnel report for Khalon's ship. So far I have the species and gender of +120 personnel; all I really need now are their age and names. I really need to find something useful to apply all this energy into.

With my game reaching its' final stages (I hope), I have fleshed out my imaginary universe much better than I had hoped. And as a side effect, I now know what it is I should write about. And after reading a book that I simply could not put down easily, I figured out a new way to write it as well.
;D
