Lacking any ship comparable to the Venator Star Destroyers, IGBC scientist overhauled and refitted and upgraded the old Reclamation Class Cruiser mainly used for cargo and fire support duties. These ships then carried large ammounts of fighters and bombers and were armed with a large ammount of heavy guns to attack and destroy large warships.
Only weakness was the fact that it carried a minimum ammount of anti-fighter weaponry and thus was vurnerable once it's fighters had been diverted or destroyed.
