It took me a few years since I got the book to finally get some miniatures for this game. "Real" miniatures; the kind you have to paint and such.
I was going to have a Heru warband, because they are so close to me in disposition and because they are excellent on the offense, but for some reason, I chose the Basti. Is it because they are felines? Could be! But more likely, it's because they are the only ones right now with female harbingers, and I would prefer my harbinger be female.
Additionally, I found a group who actually plays this game, so my pieces will not go to waste collecting dust and such. And since they give the stats for everything in the book, I don't HAVE to by all those miniatures for CASUAL play; I can just cut out pieces of paper and use that until I have the actual miniatures.
