This starfighter is one of the early successors of the popular Z-95 Headhunter. Designed in the twilight days of the Old Republic, only a few were built and fewer actually saw action before the extermination of the Jedi and the rise of the Empire. The Z-98 is somewhat similar to the Z-95 but has three small additional wings (one dorsal, two more under the main wings) for enhanced atmospheric performance, two more triple blasters mounted in the nose, and an improved engine thrust rating.
