A Limpet ship was a starship used by the Rebel Alliance to deploy troopers into Imperial starships.
Ships of this kind were of a saucer-shaped Corellian design.
The Limpets attached to an enemy hull and used plasma cutters to slice into the ship, allowing space troopers to move in. They were first used during the Battle of Per Lupelo.
