The two bounty hunters pilot their way in the indicated direction until well out of site
Varick: "Prewitt, can you show us an alternate route to the last location of the defecting Imperial officer?"
Prewitt: "Processing ...found. There is a route that the Imperials have placed little notice to. It should take you there without them noticing, or at least until it's too late for them to do something about it. Sending data now. Good luck, Sir."
Varick: "Thanks Prewitt. Jesic, there's an alternate route that we can take to get to the officer."
Varick shows the route to Jesic.

Both bounty hunters drive off in the direction of the path laid out by Prewitt. Sure enough, the Imperials are not watching the area. The two bounty hunters make their way to the blockaded zone, which appears to be a starship that made a rough landing. While their are Imperials there, there aren't as many as one would have thought there would be. The two bounty hunters stop and survey the area, out of sight of any Imperials.

Varick: "I'm not quite sure yet ...hey, what's that?"
In the distance, there is a bright object in the sky. Varick uses his binoculars, and sees that it's an Imperial landing shuttle, partially engulfed by flames. It decends rapidly towards the nearby area, crashing at one of the Imperial makeshift encampments.
Varick: "Well, that was unexpected, not that I'm complaining. That should occupy the Imperials for a while. Think we can zoom in, pick up our guy, and then zoom out?"

Jesic: It will be risky, but then again, so am I.
She grins and jumps out of the speeder and starts to dash towards the target's location.

Varick joins Jesic onfoot. Taking cover behind the various foliage and rocks, they get close to the downed defecting starship. Most of the stormtroopers have left their position momentarily to help the survivors of the more recent crash, but there are still a few left at their posts. Few enough to easily dealt with.

One of the remaining Imperials turns around and spots Varick. Before the Imp can warn his fellow troops, Jesic breaks his neck from behind. The trooper's body falls to the ground.

The bounty hunters are now at the downed defecting ship. Having seen what had just happened, and noticing that they are not in Imperial gear, the remaining crew of the ship assume that the two people approaching the ship are working with the Rebellion.
Defecting Security Soldier: "I take it that you're both here to rescue the General?"
ooc: If I'm advancing things too quickly, let me know.

Defecting Security Soldier: "You must be Jesic Mandalor Vexin. Now I know that you're on our side. Follow me, the General is over in what's left of the command bridge. I'm sure he'll be eager to see you two."

The Security Soldier leads the two bounty hunters through the battered corridors of the ship towards the command center. he motions to the two guards left at the area that the two bounty hunters with him are friendly. The two soldiers let the three into the command center.
Security Soldier: "General, these two bounty hunters are here to rescue you. They're...
General: "Varick Hadar and Jesic Mandalor Vexin. I was hoping to be rescued by people of your caliber."

Jesic: I am honored that you know our names. But I suggest we hightail it out of here before the Imperial loyalists return. Varick, contact that old rustbucket of yours and tell him to bring the ship ASAP.

Varick: "Prewitt, we need evac, ASAP!"
Prewitt: "Roger that, Sir. On my way."
Prewitt pilots the ship towards the downed ship as quickly as he can. He lands right outside the down ship.
Prewitt: "Hurry, Sir, the Imperials are sure to have noticed us now."
ooc: What about the rest of the ship's crew? There's only five left, including the soldiers.
