Varick: "Thank you, Jesic. You've made me the happiest man alive."
Varick puts the ring on Jesic's finger.

Jesic: Could you see if you could get the 'Captain' to marry us?

Varick: "I'll see what I can do."
Varick approaches the rescued defecting high ranking officer, and asks if he could perform a marriage ceremony for the two bounty hunters. The officer agrees to do that.

Jesic smiles when the two men arrive.
Jesic: Well, let's get this show on the road.

ooc: I'm a little rusty with how marriage ceremonies go, and the current condition may make it difficult to do it properly, so I apologize if it's not done as it would be in real life.
Officer: "Varick Hadar, do you take Jesic Mandalore Vexin as your lawful wife, to have and behold, to cheerish, until death do you part?"
Varick: "I do."

ooc: Sorry, but I have to leave for a holiday event right now, but I'll be back later tonight.

ooc: I'm back now. The event ran longer than I thought it would. And I just realized that it's supposed to be "lawfully wedded" rather than just "lawful." Oh well, these things happen.
ooc: Before anyone points out that the officer couldn't marry people because he had no ship, the officer was the captain of the downed ship as well as whatever else he was in command of.

(( Just so you two are aware, you jumped to hyperspace without plotting a course or powering up the hyperdrive... Rather, without posting doing either. Keep that in mind should you ever find yourselves in combat against me again. I won't be so accomodating next time. ))

ooc: Actually, on the top of page five, I did announce that I was plotting a course for Hyperspace.
ooc: If you want, I could have the destination be Naboo instead of Alderaan, so that way, there would be an Imperial raid there that would happen at the same time as the one that happened in Star Wars Battlefront 2.
ooc: Free-form role-playing is difficult for me. Please keep that in mind. And with your skills in that subject being above and beyond anything that I can fathom, that's really intimidating; it's like facing a 15th level armored Gunslinger armed with laser pistols in a duel when I'm a 1st level unarmored commoner with a stick.

IC: Jesic: I do.
A tear of joy forms on her face as she says this.

Officer: "I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride."
Varick and Jesic share a long kiss.

Jesic is proud to finally have her dream come true. Even though it is not exactly as she pictured it.

Jesic: Darling, you think the Imps might be tracking us?

ooc: Would counter measures prevent the Imperials from learning where we are going, or would they end up leaving a trail to follow?
|
|

Post by Marcus Starkiller on Dec 28, 2005 1:11:24 GMT -5
ooc: If the Imperials somehow planted a tracking device aboard to ship, say, by attaching it by using an unarmed warhead to deliver it during the battle, then they will be able to find them.

ooc: Since I don't recall that happening, I'll assume that that didn't happen. But since I might be changing the distination from Alderaan to Naboo in order to coincide with the Imperial raid there that happens in Star Wars Battlefront 2, we might still be encountering the Imperials yet again.
Varick: "That would be unlikely. Still, that should be something we should watchout for."
