Darth Vader senses the presence of several Jedi some distance away.
"Commanders', I can feel the presence of a group of Jedi nearby. Prepare your men for combat!" informs Lord Vader.
"Sir, yes Sir!" barks the clone commanders in unison.
The Imperial trooper column, led by Darth Vader, makes it's way to the current location of our heroes. During the battle, Vader gets the upper hand on Rani and cuts away both her legs, as seen in Rani's new vision. Carth leaps into battle, preventing the Dark Lord from finishing off his mother.

Carth is very well aware of the fact that he is not an equal of the Dark Lord in combat. "Back off, jetii," he growls, firing a proximity fused micromissile at Lord Vader. That blast damages the life support components of Vader's suit, forcing him to withdraw.
"You'll pay for that, whelp," Vader snarls as he retreats.
OOC: Is that too contrived, Marcus?

OOC: It's just fine.
Commander Cody helps Darth Vader to an awaiting shuttle, while the remaining units of the 212th and 501st keep up the fight.

"Wonder where that kid got the missile launcher?" says one of the 501st troopers before he's killed by Matt beheading him.
"Good question," Matt quips as the headless corpse falls backwards.

Matt fries one final 501st trooper with Force Lightning before grabbing Rani's hand and giving it a gentle squeeze. "Hush, Rani, save your strength," he says.

A member of the 212th decides he's seen too much death drops his blaster and walks up to Matt. It is 'Boil', now former member of Ghost Company.
"General Hunter... I... surrender." says 'Boil'. "I don't want to kill Jedi anymore. When Order 66 was issued, I followed orders and helped to look for General Kenobi's body, though we never found him. If he was still alive, I would have sought to help him escape."
OOC: Little does 'Boil' know, that Kenobi is alive and on Tatooine, but onebody knows this. Not even Matt.

"It's nice to have you with us. Anyways, we lost Mapper and Hindsight when Vader bombed our fallback location," Matt says after shaking Boil's hand. "Fortunately we'd never planned to stay there for more than a few days."
