The 9th Fleet does its utmost to keep the Imperial task force away from their crippled flagship, and does a very good job, eliminating the one Carrack-class that does get into position to fire on the crippled Warrior.
OOC: Needed to explain why that control panel blew. A Carrack-class cruiser was shooting at Warrior. Don't worry, it didn't live very long after opening fire.

OOC: Good to know.
IC: After the twisted metal is removed from her arm, Nova returns to her post on the bridge, despite suggestions of not doing so. Her arm is however in a sling.
"Admiral? What are your orders?" asks Nova.

OOC: I've decided that the Flight Control Officer (a rated pilot) is also female, and a smoke jaguar (an animal dreamed up in BattleTech that's basically just a grey version of a jaguar, but I'll have to check). Her name is Natasha Fetladral (combining the names of two Clan Wolf warriors here. Natasha Kerensky is famed as the Black Widow in the Inner Sphere, and Evantha Fetladral is an Elemental (armored infantry that makes Heinlein's Mobile Infantry look like a bunch of sissies). Also, Nova's post is in Damage Control Central, which is elsewhere in the ship.
IC: "And here I thought I was tough," Lt. Commander Natasha 'Tasha' Fetladral, a smoke jaguar, grunts.
"Shut up, Tasha," Nova snaps at her friend and roommate.

"You can escort Obrim to the brig, that is, if NOTHING happens to him on the way there. I'm starting to believe his actions were on purpose." says Captain Sarna. "I'll stay here with the Admiral and help co-ordinate the fight."

"Never assume treachery when incompetence may be the answer, Leon," Matt says, motioning towards a stormtrooper. "Trooper! Take Lt. Obrim to the brig, and make sure he gets there alive! Am I clear, Corporal?"
"Yes, sir," the stormtrooper replies.
OOC: Who is this Captain Sarna? Matt's flag captain?

OOC: Yes, he is the flag captain.
IC: "Sir, there is a reason I said what I did... I checked Obrim's records and he transferred from the Coruscant Defense Fleet. Appairantly on orders from fleet command." says Sarna.

"All the more reason to ensure that there aren't any accidents, Leon," Matt says, tacitly acknowledging his flag captain's point. "This way we can give him a proper court-martial once we have a chance to do so."

"And while I'm thinking about it, how did he manage to qualify as Officer Of the Deck so quickly?" Matt wonders.
Captain Sarna pales. "Sithspawn..." he gasps.
Tasha facepalms at her station. "It does make one wonder, sir," she says. "and I know I submitted a request for someone to go over his qualifications for the position."

While being escorted to the brig, Obrim pulls a dagger from his left boot and kills the Stormtrooper.

Unfortunately for Obrim, he didn't get very far before a fireteam of ship's police brought him down, the ship having been brought to battle stations with fireteams of troopers prowling the ship looking for anything out of place. When he awoke, he found himself in one of the brig's "penthouse suite" cells. "Sithspawn," he mutters after finding himself without weapons.

Nova accompanies Admiral Hunter to the brig to interogate Obrim.

OOC: I recommend glossing over the interrogation and have what's learned relayed to the New Republic forces. Oh, and by the way, Obrim's going out the airlock for murdering that stormtrooper.

OOC: I don't mind him being killed. And I was hoping you could write up the interrogation of Obrim.
IC: Nova takes out a sonic disrupter pistol and sets it to a low but painful setting.

Admiral Hunter simply inserts earplugs and grins evilly at the husky.
Nova begins to ask questions about who 'Obrim' really is and what his mission aboard the Admiral's flagship was. "If you talk, and remain polite, you wouldn't get hurt as much," she says after blasting him with the sonic disruptor when he refuses to answer her questions and calls her several rude names, with whore being the only one that was not, technically, obscene.

They finally get the information they wanted. He was a spy and operative for Isard.

A summary court-martial later, and out the airlock Obrim goes, the battle having ended with the defeat of the Imperial forces while the admiral and Nova were interrogating the spy. "If General Khan weren't dead, I'd be having stern words with him for missing Obrim, Nova," Matt says later.

"So, what's the additional damage from the Moff's attempt to throw a party?" Matt asks.
OOC: I'm assuming that at least a couple of days have passed, and Matt's officers have all been accounting for the damage.

"Half our fleet is now gone or damaged beyond repair. And the Warrior itself is in desperate need of repair all over the place." reports Nova. "The New Republic forces took more casualties though... Only three of their MonCal starcruisers are left, and their fleet is in shambles."
