"The last time we clashed, Vader, as I recall, you shamefully failed to avoid a missile fired by my son," Matt taunts in return. "Never did figure out where he got the missile launcher from, though."

"Never the less, you will fail this time, and you and your armored band WILL DIE." taunts Vader.

"Oh, really? And just who is going to do the deed? Your stormies, most of whom can barely hit the broad side of a barn, much less an individual?" Matt asks in a bored tone before igniting his 'saber and stabbing one of the dark side adepts through the chest, killing him instantly. "Or these idiots?"

The other Dark Side Adept leaps into the air and lands atop Carth, breaking several ribs.
"You have simply killed my apprentice." says The dark sider. "I will kill your boy. Shadow Guards, keep the father busy!"
The mute black armored warriors ignite their saber-staffs. and encircle Matt.

Carth throws the Adept off, igniting his saber as he does so. While wounded, Carth is far from out of the fight. Unfortunately for the Shadow Guards, Matt is an expert with the double-bladed lightsaber. The Shadow Guards are quickly dispatched by the experienced Knight (he's never been confirmed as a Jedi Master), while his son is holding his own against the remaining Adept, admittedly with Luke helping to cover him.
OOC: Rule of Two, Marcus. Vader's the Apprentice while Palpie's the Master. Besides, remember what happened the last time Vader tried to have an apprentice of his own? Yeah, he got pwned, twice (the Force Unleashed games, X-Box 360 version)...

OOC: I figure that the Dark Side adepts would have faux-apprentices that they guide in the ways of the Dark Side.
IC: One Shadow Guard is still alive. Matt removes the helmet, revealing the face of a former Jedi that had been tortured by Palpatine. The once proud warrior breaks the muteness he experienced for several years.
"M... master... Hunter. I'm, I'm so sorry..." says the warrior as he dies from his wounds.

OOC: I believe I've mentioned that Matt is not a Master? He may deserve the rank, but he hasn't been confirmed in the rank (although I think Yoda may be thinking about it).
IC: "Requiescat in pace," Matt murmurs, gently laying the deceased warrior down. He then gets up (OOC insert: I figure this was kinda like those sequences in the original Assassin's Creed game that occur after Altair kills his assigned target) and goes after Vader.
OOC: Requiescat in pace means "Rest In Peace".

OOC: The Master part was out of respect.
IC: Barquan looks at the dead warrior and recognizes the face.
"Jedi Knight Montoa Jurrd, reported missing during the Battle of Coruscant." states Barquan about the dead male husky.

Matt hears the comment over the commlink. "Nice guy, always ready with a good joke, usually at the expense of the Council," he replies. "Both Vader and Sidious have a lot to answer to." He slows down from his headlong pursuit of the Dark Lord of the Sith, expecting a trap.

Matt is right. The ceiling caves in where Matt would have been standing under.

Matt smirks. "Glad I came in expecting traps," he says to himself. "Because that one would've put paid to me."

"Impressive, Master Hunter... your skills haven't diminished. But no matter... I will see you and your band dead, one way or another. Lord Vader to Avenger, target the east wing of Cloud City and fire."

OOC: I think we're getting a little out of hand here. Cloud City (Bespin) is a source of Tibanna gas, and I doubt the Emperor would appreciate his apprentice destroying it, even if he bagged a Jedi (or three) in the process.

OOC: The order is a ploy to draw Hunter out. Remember, Vader can be a trickster.

Matt doesn't fall for it. "Damned glad I did my homework on the way here," he chuckles to himself as Vader growls at his ploy not working. "Cloud City isn't just casinos, it's Tibanna gas extraction, as well, something I'm sure the Emperor wouldn't want to lose because his apprentice had an itchy trigger finger."

Darth Vader finally reveals himself to the Mandalorians. He begins to Force Choke Matt Hunter, luring the rogue clones into range. He launches his lightsaber like a boomerang, cutting three warriors in half, and injuring 4 more. Carth however has a sniper rifle, and while the saber is gone from the Dark Lord's hand, he fires a slug round, fracturing Vader's helmet, but not injuring him. Vader releases Matt long enough for the Jedi to regain his composure.

Matt finally reveals something Vader had only heard stories of him using, Force Lightning. (OOC: Recall that in the original Madalorian Wars RP, I had Matt literally fry a Mandalorian with this technique, and he did tell the Council that he could use the technique in the Clone Wars, but nothing more was ever said on the matter.)

The damage to Vader's helmet allows some of the Force Lightning to burn his head.

Vader is forced to retreat, but Han Solo had already been frozen in Carbonite for Boba Fett to transport to Tatooine so that he could claim the bounty on Han's head from Jabba the Hutt. Cloud City is occupied by Imperial troops, causing Baron-Administrator Lando Calrissian (OOC insert: What species is Lando going to be?) to order an evacuation of Cloud City, covered by Ne'tra Kad.

OOC: I think Lando would make a good silver fox.
IC: Luke is lured into the bowels of Cloud City by Vader.
