Mirdala fires off a few shots at a group of Vong, downing one of them in the process, while Nera covers her back, taking out a Vong as well.
Nera: "Where DO these guys get their numbers from?"
Mirdala: "As long as we can kill them faster than they can be replaced, it doesn't matter."

The Mandalorian arctic fox losses his head to a Vong amphistaff when he is ambushed from behind. His blaster rifle lands at the feet of Nera.
Jag: We have just lost Tra Sween!
Mandalorian tigress: I know. We will mourn him later!
Kandosi presses a button, causing a menacing looking blade to shoot out of his gauntlet. He dives his blade into the back of a Vong warrior's neck, effectively severing his spine. The Vong warrior falls to the ground.
Jesic fires at a fuel storage tank behind a group of Vong troopers, engulfing the extra-galactic invaders in a ball of fire.
Salla breaks the neck of a Peace Brigade trooper who is trying to get the drop on Kandosi.
Jag launches himself into the air with his jetpack and drops grenades down on the enemy.

Nera sees the Vong that killed the Mandalorian, and fires at him, the blast catching him in the face. Mirdala continues to make the Vong pay a heavy price for the invasion of the planet.

A Vong warrior sneaks up behind Nera and dives his amphistaff into her backside. Though it is a serious wound, it is not fatal.
Kandosi, who is still fighting without a helmet, takes a blow to the head from the rifle-butt of a Peace Brigade member.
Salla: That was a big mistake di'kut!
Salla grabs a long piece of pipe and runs it right through the Peace Brigade weasel's torso, pinning him to a wall.

Nera falls to the ground, her back hurting like hell. Mirdala releases her gauntlet blade and slashes at the Vong, killing him. Mirdala then helps Nera back on her feet, but Nera is having a hard time staying up.
Nera: "Damn, I think that Vong messed up my back."

Jag: On my count, we fall back into the hospital! One... Two... THREE!
The group retreats to the hospital one by one. Mirdala and Nera being the first into the facility.
Kandosi and Salla are the last to enter. They take up defensive positions near the entrance while Mirdala gets her newfound lover to a doctor.

Nera's back is messed up pretty badly, and will not be able to continue fighting anytime soon. She is rushed to a medical room, where a medical staff tries to stabilize her. As a result of the pain, she becomes unconscious. Mirdala, wanting to be with her lover, but being needed to defend the hospital, takes up a position with the others.

Kandosi: Mirdala, you take mother, and both of you guard the operating room that Nera is in. She's the only patient here now.

The front doors blow open as Vong and Peace Brigade troopers storm the hospital. The mandalorians and hospital staff take up arms against the invaders. Within the first ten minutes, a pile of Vong and Peace Brigade bodies begins to block one of the doorways.
Jag: We fall back deeper into the building!

Mirdala can hear the sounds of battle getting louder and louder, closer and closer. She worries not of her death, but of the possible death her lover, Nera. She hopes that the hospital staff can save her, and that she will survive the battle.

Jag and the other combatants fall back to the central lobby, where they begin setting booby traps before the enemy arrives, then they fall back even farther. A Vong warrior steps on a trip-wire attached to an explosive device, detonating it, caving the roof in at the lobby, crushing several Vong, and trapping others.

Mirdala hears and feels a large explosion in the building, and hopes that it will not collapse the structure. She wonders if the doctors are able to do their job properly, with all that's happening around them.

Half an hour passes as the Mandalorians continue to defend the hospital. a doctor emerges from the Operating Room and informs Mirdala that Nera will survive. And that Nera wants to see her.

Mirdala is overjoyed at the news, and goes to see Nera.
Mirdala: "Nera, I hear that you're going to be okay."
Nera: "Yes, eventually; I'll need a wheelchair for a while, but I'll eventually be able to walk again. Until then, the doctor's said to relax and not to do much activity; damn, there goes a lot of ideas that I had."
Mirdala: "Don't worry, we're still relatively young, we've got plenty of time ahead of us. Say, I don't think that we've told each other how old we were. I'm (30-ish number; will need to work on a definate age)."
Nera: "I'll be 21 in a few months."
Mirdala: "I'll make sure that your birthday will be one to remember."
Nera: "Thanks, I sure it will be."

Kandosi checks up on his sister and Nera. While on the way to the hospital, the two lovers told him and the others of their "interest" in eachother.
Kandosi: So my sister, how is your girlfriend holding out?

Kandosi leaves the room and soon returns with a hoverchair.
Kandosi: Doc' says this thing has a three foot clearance at the max, at minimum, it travels half a foot above the ground.
