"A fine way to show it." Haruhi responds. "Look, the droid is yours to do with as you see fit. And as for me, I don't view myself as anything near a Jedi now. Why bother trying to continue that way of life after all that has happened. Perhaps it is best for me to end things."
Haruhi takes a blaster pistol from her pack and places it under her chin and is ready to kill herself.

Kari beats her to the shot with a stun blast from her DL-50. “Why do I do this poodoo?” she asks herself as she hauls an unconscious Haruhi upstairs to her apartment and puts her on the couch.

“First, you’re blood kin to me, and second, the Empire’s fond of simple solutions to problems like reporting a dead body, especially when they’re already suspicious of you,” says Kari. “That means an all expense paid trip to Kessel at the very least if they’re being generous and you’re male, or, if you’re a good-looking female, more than likely, you wind up on the auction block with the Empire pocketing the profits.”

OOC: In Legends material, this Jedi became a gambler after Order 66. starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Kai_HudorraHe went on to become the owner of a casino. I figure that Haruhi could do something similar, but not become a casino owner, rather making enough money to live a comfortable life. |

Half a year later, Haruhi and her now wife leave Corellia to visit Kari on Coruscant at Dex's Diner. Through cosmetic surgery, Haruhi looks rather different, but Kari is well aware of this before they meet up.
