Muramin quietly began to walk away from the Republic officer, feeling a little uneasy for some strange reason. The feline forced the feeling down into the pit of her gut, wanting to get it out of her mind. Still, she made herself ready to move quickly and arm herself should things warrant such. She had spent enough time in the under-levels of this city-planet to know that ignoring feelings of danger was a bad idea.
And yet, despite her attempts, something still seemed fairly off to her. It was not like the usual signs, either, when she had 'defended herself' the many times during her stay in the city. Nor was it like the times she had felt impending danger back on her home. The strange feeling, which she could neither adequately subdue or identify, just remained to confuse and unnerve her. Although, she likewise knew that from fear grew strength; in time both her feeling and its source would come to pass on.

"Wait, I....*Sigh*" Cahn slumped his shoulders and turned to join the others, only to find Master Vecto and the others passing him out the door. Nik motioned for Cahn to follow him, and they all walked out of the bar down the street. "Hey, where's the coolant leak? What's up?", Cahn asked. Nik turned his head while walking. "That woman is the source of the Force tremors I had felt earlier, Captain. She does not follow the Dark Path, of that, I am sure.... Still, she is dangerous. Did you see the lightsabers on her hip?" Cahn blushed slightly.... He was paying attention to about everything but those cylinders she was carrying.... "Uh, no", he finally replied, "I hadn't noticed." Nik shot him a knowing eye, and continued. "Those lightsabers belonged to two Jedi Knights reported killed on Wyuli, when the Imperials were enforcing the Purge. Because that is so, I want to know where she got them, and why she knows how to use them--" "Hold the comlink, sir!", Cahn interuppted. "Who says she knows how to use em'? I didn't see anything that--" This time, Nik cut in. "She had already dispatched some people before we had arrived, in another corner...." Cahn was amazed. Surely, it couldn't be that girl he was talking to. "Master? Are you sure it's her? I mean, it was pretty busy in there.... It could have been anyone...." Nik kept walking, his steps resolute. "I am positive, Captain. Come, I'm losing sight of her...."

Marcus: Not to worry Master Vecto. I've got it covered...
Marcus pulls out a tiny case from his pocket and opens it, revealing a near microscopic droid known as a 'fly spy' due to it's resemblance to a real fly. With the press of a button, the small droid activates and takes off after the woman.
Marcus: Just need to get the channel right. Ah... there we are.
A small hologram appears over Marcus' wrist comlink, showing the target as she tries to lose them.
Ivanova: Good move, love.

Nik smiled. "Clever...." They trudged on, with Cahn falling behind. She didn't seem all that bad to ME, he thought, looking downward as he walked. The streets were thinning, now, and they would soon be upon their young, beautiful quarry.

Muramin was not, in fact, trying to lose the trio of Jedi as she walked. No, her purpose was much more innocent: she sought out a place she'd deemed 'safe' a while ago, having cleaned out a small area from its prvious, unlawful owners.
The building itself was little more than a series of three fairly-large, interconnected storage containers beside a larger warehouse. She had made them an effectively her home; one serving as a place to sleep, eat, and rest. The second was mostly storage of things she had picked up during her extended stay on Coruscant; the third showed multiple signs of combat, as it had been where the previous occupants stood against her. It now served as her preferred place of training, as evidenced by several well-armed droids and the pieces of others (droids, not people).
The feline waved her paw towards the front door and waited for it to open, stepping inside once it did. The door closed behind her quietly and fairly quickly.

Nik caught a glance of a door closing a little ways off, and stopped, checking his surroundings. Cahn stepped next to him. "What is it, Nik?" "It appears that our quarry has dissapeared...." He looked in the direction of Marcus' holo-tracker. "Or, at least, off the street." Cahn looked up at the thousands of speeders whizzing past far above, thinking about the young woman again. "So, what now?" Nik pondered a moment. "While I did sense the use of the Dark Side within that woman, I felt a certain feeling of distress within her, and I believe that she may have been reacting defensively to whoever was causing her that distress...." Cahn looked puzzled, raising his arms. "And, that means.... What?" "It means that, should we continue pursuing her in this fashion, we may give her the wrong impression of trying to attack her, rather than investigate her use of the Dark Side. I believe that we should...." But Nik wasn't able to finish his sentence, as a number of shadowy figures suddenly appeared from out of the alleyway. They circled the four companions, some of them chuckling as the did. The apparent leader, a massive Twi'lek man, one of his bluish Lekku ending in a stump where it had been cut off(By a lightsaber, Nik supposed), spoke out at them. "And where do you think you're going?" Cahn stood up straight. "Republic business", he said, then added, "out of the way, you're interfering with an investigation...." The Twi'lek just chuckled. "Ohh, hoo, HOO.... Well, a cuppa' Republic officers'r gracing little ol' me with their presence, in my own territory.... Gee, I'm flattered!" Several of the leader's cronies chuckled again. "Unfortunately, Sir, I'm afraid that I can't just let you through here without paying a toll...." He looked at Ivanova. "Hmm.... We could just take it outta' her...." Both Nik and Cahn's brows furrowed instantly at this. Nik spoke first. "That will not be neccessary...." He gripped his hidden lightsaber, warily. "Now, stand aside." The Twi'lek shook his head. "Ooh, 'fraid I can't do that, old man.... See, if you step in on Meloh's turf.... Meloh's boys step in on you...." At this, the members of Meloh's gang drew blasters and durasteel pipes, brandishing them at the at Nik and the others. Nik sighed, and turned to Cahn. "Time to draw, Cahn...." Cahn nodded, and pulled out his own blaster. In a flash of emerald light, Nik charged the nearest gang member, his lightsaber drawn.

“Stop!” interjected a voice coming from above the containers, hopefully before Master Vecto was too far in his run to slow. Those that looked up would notice Muramin standing there, one of lightsabers humming and activated. The jade light cast an eerie look about her. The leopardess obviously had the best position of anyone present, holding the high ground, and she looked more than ready to rend life and limb.
“Still up to your old games, eh, Meloh?” she asked with an acidic tone. “You know what I said would happen if you showed up around here again, or do you need me to remind you?” Muramin continued, holding back a soft growl. She had dealt with the Twi’lek once already, and he seemed to have forgotten his lesson in humility. “This is not your ‘turf’ any further, Andodulin,” she declared, starting to draw upon her ability with the Force.

OOC:"It's over, Anakin! I have the High Ground, and it adds a +5 to my agility!" This is, without a doubt, the COOLEST RP I've ever been in! So gritty.... So real.... So.... Eh, nifty!
IC:Nik stopped short, his Jedi training keeping him balanced as he looked up at the woman on top of the container. He spotted Meloh and his gang shifting uneasily in the corner of his eye, obviously shaken by the newcomer. Meloh spoke, the fear not entirely absent from his voice. "Heh.... Me, forget you, Mura? .... Never, uh.... We were just on our way out. Isn't that right, boys?" The gang members nodded stupidly, but clutched their weapons as if it meant life, or death.... Meloh looked at Nik, Cahn, and the others again. "Blasted Jedi", he muttered, under his breath. Rubbing his stump, he walked away, reluctantly. His gang ran to follow him, and soon they were gone, disappearing back where they had come from.
Nik looked up at Mura, keeping his lightsaber activated, seeing that Mura had not yet closed down her own. Cahn smiled as he walked toward her container. "Thanks, Muramin.... That was close...." Vecto glanced warily at him, not knowing what to expect from their former quarry up above.

(( "HAX!" ))
Muramin deactivated the lightsaber she held in paw and looked down at the four below. The leopardess recognized the four from the bar and felt that it was too big a coincidence that they were now here. Further, she was unhappy that the Twi'lek has disregarded her promise of pain so readily.
"Cahn, was it? Well, you and your... Friends are welcome to stay for the moment in my home. I'm sure one of them can figure out how to open the door." She gave the three Jedi a somewhat menacing look before continuing, "I've a promise to that one I need to carry out." Gracefully, she lept down to the alleyway from her pearch, flipping twice in the air before landing. "It won't take but a few moments," she said lightly as she started towards the direction the thugs had fled.

As Mura faded into the blackness of the alleyway, Nik closed down his lightsaber, a look of bewilderment on his face. "Very odd", he muttered, and walked towards the container door. As he studied it, Cahn sighed dreamily. "See, Nikko? She's just fine, and pretty decent, s'far as I can tell...." Nik replied with a slight smile on his face. "It would seem so, Cahn...." He waved his fingers, and the door opened. "We'll soon find out", he added, making his way inside. ------------ Meloh muttered to himself angrily as he led his gang back to their new hideout, quite a ways away from the containers. "Blasted girl.... 'Dunno why I left with my tail between my legs like that...." He rubbed his stump of a lekku tenderly, a slight sting of pain maiking its way to his brain. It had been nearly a month since that lightsaber-girl's "claiming" of Meloh's territory, when he had lost his lekku. Hey, after all, she had a lightsaber.... Two of them, even.... And none of his gang's stolen weapons would be able to stand up to it! "If only I had a vibroblade, then we'd see who's so 'high-n'mighty'...." Meloh's second-in-command, Whiff, looked up at him from the ranks of retreating gang members beside him. "Whuzzat, Boss?", he asked, in his jumpy, mousy tone. Meloh's gaze lifted, coming out of his thoughts. "Hm? Aw, nuthin', Whiff.... Just thinkin' about killin' that upstart Mura back there...." Whiff shifted his eyes, back and forth, comtemplating his answer. "Well.... Why don't you?" "Because", Meloh replied, laughing, "she...." He trailed off. Why shouldn't he? Who cared if she had a blasted laser-sword.... He could wring her scrawny little neck any time he wanted to. And he really wanted to. Maybe he could even take a few liberties with her before he killed her, just to make it all the sweeter.... "Boys", he shouted, brandishing his blaster, "I don't give a nerf's ass whether or not that little tart has a lightsaber! we're takin' our turf back! C'mon!" He ran back the way he came, with his gang following, although reluctantly, after him into the darkness. As he caught up to Meloh, Whiff sneered his mousiest sneer. 'Got him right in my pocket, he thought.

Meanwhile Marcus uses the Force to open the doorway. He cautiously enters the building and gives the 'all clear'. Ivanova follows next.
Ivanova: What's that smell?

Muramin ignited both of her sabers as she drew towards the gang, eyeing them each quietly before setting her gaze on their leader. "I warned you, Meloh, when I cleared you out of my home," she stated flatly. "I gave you another chance just a month ago," added the leopardess, referring to the fact she'd taken but a portion of him. "And, yet, you still return to raise trouble in my area. I can see that I have but one choice," she said grimly, "and that is to take your head."
Giving neither time nor quarter, the Shaman charged into the gang. Using the force to enhance her natural ability to jump, she lept into the air and landed amidst the group. The killing began as she she entered into a spin, sabers slashing out at the nearest gang members in her way.

Meloh's face turned pale.... His newly found courage had dissapated as quickly as the angry girl's blades had come to life, and he knew he wouldn't survive. As he saw the girl hacking her way towards him, he closed his eyes tight, and thought about how he really wished he had gone straight....

Muramin allowed the gang-members that were not Meloh to flee, only harming those within reach or trying to harm her. She trusted their fear to clear them quickly and smiled as she found herself with fewer and fewer in the way. It did not take much to scatter the peons between her and her target. The path empty, she padded quietly to the Twi'lek.
"It is such a shame, Meloh, that you chose to throw it all away," she taunted, ever ready to take his head from his shoulders. "Good bye, Andodulin; you won't be missed." With an expression between boredom and the feral excitement of the hunt, the leopardess pulled a sabre through the air to pass through the space between Meloh's chin and shoulders.

A blaster bolt seared toward the woman from a darker corner of the alleyway.... It was one of the gang members! He was wide-eyed with astonishment at getting his shot fired off without getting killed, but as he saw Mura's cold stare, his astonishment quickly changed to fear. Stumbling, he turned about and ran as fast as he could back into the darkness.... ---------------------- Nik rubbed his temples, a painful expression on his face. Cahn looked up at him, stopping himself from admiring many of Mura's trainer-droids. "What's wrong, Master?", he asked. Nik opened his eyes slowly, and answered. "The Dark Side is present, Cahn.... Your friend has gone after that gang, and if I don't stop her...." He quickly dashed out the door, pulling his lightsaber from his belt.

Muramin hissed quietly as she felt flesh and fur burn away, a crimson bolt sailing past her arm. It was close, too close, but the pain only served to fuel her desire for the Twi'lek's blood. The cleave continued for the Twi'lek's neck, and she would not cease it save the threat of grave bodily harm. The thought crossed her mind to chase after the one that grazed her, but taking care of the one she promised death to came first in her mind.

As Nik ran through the alleyway, lightsaber extended, he could feel the girl's hatred growing in intensity. How can such rage be so unfocused?, he thought, rounding a corner. Then, skidding to a stop, he saw her, arm outstretched, preparing a killing blow for the gang leader. He focused, slowly lifting his own arm, and used the Force to pull her away from Meloh. The Twi'Lek, eyes opening in surprise at his not being dead, grabbed his blaster and fired several potshots at Nik, who easily deflected them. Looking over at Mura, who was recovering from her fall, the Jedi Master used the Force to lift a nearby refuse bin, and hurled it at Meloh. Unable to escape, it collided with the gang leader's head, effectively knocking him out.
