Coruscant: Jedi Temple: Jedi Archives at noon.
Marcus Starkiller and his wife Ivanova had finished their meeting with Grandmaster Matt Hunter and Battlemaster Luke Skywalker half an hour earlier and have decided to help go over newly recovered documents from before Order 66 which had been spirited away by a group of Jedi during the assault on the temple. Ivanova is going over information on her hand-held reader when some info catches her eye.
"Marcus. I think I found the location of an old Jedi safe house from the time of the purge." the female cheetah/fox hybrid states. "This document says only users of the lightside can gain access and that there are supplies there to last around 20 beings for 50 years if need be."
"Perhaps there are still Jedi in hiding there. Not everyone knows that the Empire was defeated." Marcus responds.

OOC: Not the timeframe I had in mind, but it gives us a whole lot more room to play with. BTW, Marcus, are the Starkillers Knights, or Masters in this RP?

OOC: The Starkillers are Masters by this point. And this RP is supposed to take place in the legends universe.

OOC: Thanks, so I guess Kari's a newly-minted Knight. Now I need to figure out how to introduce her...

OOC: Perhaps Matt Hunter trained Kari at one point. Also, I could see Kari being in the Jedi archives when she sees the Starkillers.

OOC: Arguably, we could say that Matt had actually adopted her as his daughter (assuming we handwave any further children from Matt and Rani after Etain) just before taking her as his Padawan. Also, remember what I said about Matt taking over for Yoda as Grand Master way back in the Mandalorian Wars: Clone Wars AU RP? That means Luke isn't Grand Master, yet, but he is on the reconstituted Jedi Council as the Order's Battlemaster. Sound good?

OOC: Sounds good.

OOC: But for the moment, that's just background information. That said, you do need to edit your first post in this thread to take that into account.
IC: Newly promoted Jedi Knight Kari Hunter bumps into the pair of Masters as they enter the Archives. "OOF! Oh! I'm sorry!" she squeaks as she winds up on her rear end. "I should've been paying more attention to my surroundings!"

OOC: Very well. Also, Kari was born into slavery in Hutt Space around the time of the Battle of Yavin, but her master ran afoul of Ne'tra Kad a couple of weeks after the Battle of Endor, and didn't survive the encounter (what can I say, Matt has a very low tolerance for slavers of any sort). And before you ask, yes, Kari's still a redhead.

"Not a problem, young Master Hunter." Ivanova states as she helps Kari to her feet. "You will get there in time."
"That you will." Marcus adds. "But I do agree with you, it is wise to pay attention to one's surroundings. You can never know what may be lurking in the shadows."

OOC: Kari's a brand spanking new Knight, having only passed the revived Trials a couple of days prior to this. Question: do humans and anthros coexist in this version of the Star Wars universe?
IC: Kari hangs her head, she knows she deserves the lecture on awareness. "Yes, Master Starkiller," she replies. "I'll be sure to keep that in mind in the future."

OOC: This is a fully anthro universe. And Ivanova referred to Kari as Young Master Hunter as a sign of her now being a knight.
IC: "Come along we us Kari. My wife and I found some information that your adoptive father will find most interesting." informs Marcus.

"You mean that so-called Jedi Redoubt?" the red-headed coyote asks as she dusts herself off. "Sounds like a fable to me, if for no other reason than the Imperial Navy could have simply slagged the entire frakkin' planet to get the Jedi, and they would have submitted a report on it, too. We might want to see what, if anything, NRI's dug up about this."

IC: After doing a lot of digging, there are no reports from the Empire about the planet, it doesn't even exist on their star maps. With the blessings of Master Hunter and Master Skywalker, an expedition is formed up to journey to the Jedi bastion.
OOC: I figure that the reason for the planet not being on star charts is that the planet is in the heart of a violent nebula that only a few have dared to enter.

OOC: So what sort of ship are they using (since I figure the New Republic is not going to loan them the Lusankya or any ImpStars)?
