Once Matt is in touch with Ivanova via the Holonet, the two begin to address the problem at hand.
"Grand Master Hunter, after going over the information we sent, what is your thought on the matter?" Ivanova inquires.

"I'm sorely tempted to simply drop the hammer on these darksiders and be done with it, but I realize that the situation is far more delicate than that," Matt begins, irritation clearly present in his voice. "That said, you sound like you've already got an idea on what to do about this situation. So, let's hear it, Ivanova."

IC: "We have several BTL-62BR Bull Rancor Assault Carriers in the hangar as well as a compliment of troops at the ready." Ivanova states. "I say we form a perimeter around our Jedi brothers and sisters to protect them while Marcus, myself and the other Jedi with us make contact with the survivors that still follow the light. Other than that, I request your insight, Grand Master. I just wish you had come with us on this mission." OOC: This is the Koensayr BTL-62BR. The BTL-62BR Assault Carrier or "Bull Rancor" was the brainchild of the same Koensayr think-tank that came up with the BTL-62D Assault Carrier aka "Dewback". Like the Dewback, the Bull Rancor was designed to carry modular pods, but whereas the Dewback was more of a transport, the Bull Rancor was a pure combat craft. In it's standard troop transport configuration, the Bull Rancor could clear out the hangar of an enemy base before landing and disgorging its trooper compliment into battle. The Bombardment pod that was designed specially for the Bull Rancor has a total of six torpedo tubes that can be loaded with any number of warhead types, depending on the mission parameters. The BTL-62BR also had an astromech socket as a standard feature as well as four engine nacelles and three heavy turrets whereas the Dewback only had one.

"How large do you need that perimeter to be, and do you have enough troops to keep it secure?" Matt asks. "And what starfighters do you have to hand for top cover?"

"We do not know how large the perimeter must be and as far as troopers are concerned, we again do not know if it is enough. We do have Raptor Squadron on hand with their X-Wings though." Ivanova responds as best she can. "We may require help though. This group of Dark Siders seems to be a bit larger than the group of Jedi."

"One squadron may be enough in this situation," Matt muses, rubbing his chin thoughtfully. "Looks like I'll have to plant a bug in Admiral Ackbar's ear to hopefully get a company or two of Marines. Carth! Any Ne'tra Kad personnel along on the mission?"

IC: Marcus looks for Carth and sees him entering the room.
OOC: If you could play Carth now, that would be good.

Carth hears his father's question and grimaces. "We've got a platoon on board as ship's police, Buir, nowhere near enough for the kind of op Ivanova's apparently got in mind," he replies.

"Well, this won't be the first time we've had the odds against us." Marcus quips. "Feels just the start of the Battle of Hoth all over again."

"That said, based on what I'm seeing insofar as the equipment used by the darksiders is concerned, a platoon'll serve quite nicely as a heavy strike force," Carth comments, causing his father to smile nastily.
"Run with it, Ad," Matt tells him.

Ivanova bows to Grand Master Hunter and states as follows. "We will do what we can with what we have."

"Yes, Buir," Carth replies with a salute. "Ivanova, Marcus, come with me, we have a lot to do and not a lot of time to do it in! Kar'ika, stay out of trouble."
Kari doesn't dignify her brother (in the Mandalorian sense) with a verbal reply.

The Starkiller couple follows Carth to the ship's war room for planning.

Kari trails along after them, having not been specifically told to make herself scarce, although that was Carth's intent.

Marcus sees Kari following and grins at her, knowing full well that Carth doesn't want her there for the planning.
"So Kari? Any ideas for the assault?" Marcus chimes.

Carth looks back, sees his younger sister (in the Mandalorian sense), and sighs. "You call this 'staying out of trouble', sister?" he asks.
"I'm not an adiik anymore, Carth," Kari replies in an icy tone that everyone who knows her has long since learned means her temper has well and truly gone to Hell. "Don't treat me like one."

"Carth. Remember, Kari was just knighted and her insight may prove useful." Marcus states. "I know for a fact that you enjoy watching those old Clone Wars holodramas. Perhaps they will inspire an idea from you."

"She's still my little sister," Carth points out weakly. "Buir would kill me, slowly, if I let anything happen to her."
"Buir knighted me himself, ori’vod," Kari replies. "He wouldn't have done that if he didn't think I could handle myself!"
OOC: What about the U-Wing from Rogue One?

OOC: Sure, we can use a U-Wing as well.
IC: Marcus just grins, remembering how he and his brother used to act that way.

Kari notices. "Duraani, burc'ya (You looking at me funny, pal)?" she asks him in Mando'a.
