OOC: For the sake of things, let us say that something on the planet extends life past it's norm, but people still die from things. I think the wolf would be kind of like Lorien from Babylon 5.

OOC: Only him, and if he steps foot off the planet for more than a couple of days, he'll begin to age at an accelerated rate until he dies from his body shutting down.

OOC: Get your mind outta the gutter (and I don’t give a damn how good the drinks are there)! Think about this, this guy's ancient, but (by local standards) very wise. They're more like his apprentices, chosen for their potential, and this time, it happened to be girls, and yes, it's caused a lot of gossip about how he seems to be going senile, since girls are (in the current local opinion) only good for bearing children. Am I making sense here?
IC: "Well, I think the Brotherhood is currently reconsidering their plans," Carth says with a smirk. "Following an air strike from Master Starkiller's Raptor Squadron."
