"Yes General." Specter says. "And if we get the go ahead, we can salvage the mass driver turret from Blurg 7 (an AT-TE). The walker itself is only worth salvage for other walkers now."
Lt. Specter leaves and fills out the needed paperwork and has it on Kari's desk ASAP.

Eventually word is received that the go ahead has been given to modify ONE of the AT-SPs, but only one.
