OOC: I have had inspiration strike me as I walked home from lunch: what if Jango Fett, at Geonosis, was given the opportunity to honorably stand down and survived, becoming something of an ally to the Jedi in the process?

OOC: That is an interesting idea for another RP. I know that Jango hated the Jedi and agreed to become the template for the clone army because Dooku informed him that the clone army would one day destroy the Jedi. But what if Jango forgave the Jedi while in captivity?

OOC: Indeed.
IC: The Sovereign is the first ship to reach Kessel. A commandeered Venator, there Acclamators and several old warships are already in system and open up on the Sovereign as three taskforce shuttles are on the way to the prison.
"It would seem that Tarkin's loyalists have assembled a small fleet to free their would be leader." Captain Tarreck. "All stations, this is the Captain. Fire at will!"
OOC: The Tarkin loyalist fleet vessels have the crest of the Tarkin family painted on the hulls. I've no idea if the Tarkin family has a crest in canon or legends, but I feel it would make a good insignia.

The ships manage to knock Sovereign’s shields down to a critical 30%.

As this happens, ships of the Open Circle Fleet arrive and see the Sovereign taking a beating.
"All ships, defend the Sovereign!" Kenobi orders.

The Sovereign begins to roll as the ships of the Open Circle Fleet close the gap on the enemy warships.
Meanwhile the three taskforce shuttles have forced their way into the main hangar of the prison facility. Tarkin loyalists are intent on causing chaos by freeing all the inmates as a makeshift army. Those that attempt to attack the loyalists are killed, while others swear loyalty to their liberators in return for revenge against the Republic.

Assault shuttles are launched from the Sovereign and the elements of the Open Circle Fleet. Meanwhile, Tarkin has been located and is being extracted to one of the taskforce shuttles.

IC: The assault shuttles land right beside the shuttles used by the Tarkin supporters and disgorge their loads of troops.
