Admiral Hunter has also noticed the loss. "Guns, best estimate of that particular destroyer's range?" he snaps the question to his gunnery officer.
OOC: The fluff publications for TFA say that Finalizer, herself, is outfitted with Adegan crystals to increase the range and damage potential of her laser cannons and turbolasers. Wookieepedia's article on the Resurgent-class doesn't mention it (or at least, I don't think they do...).
I found that reference again in the Complete Star Wars Incredible Cross-sections, and it’s not Adegan crystals, but military grade kyber crystals…

OOC: I know that it isn't mentioned at all in Star Wars, but I figure the Finalizer could have some surprises we have yet to see.

The ship's assistant gunnery officer draws the relevant conclusion. "Oh, kriff," she moans, drawing Kylo Ren's attention.
"Well?" he asks, pausing in his destruction of his surroundings. "What is it?"
"Ninth Fleet," the officer replies. "That should tell you everything."

"We have one of the damaged CR-90s that has a crippled life support loaded with explosives." General Starkiller informs to Admiral Hunter over the com. "It is currently manned by a crew of droids. Keep enemy fire away from it as it makes it's ramming assault."

Before Admiral Hunter can respond, an officer informs him that the planet is starting to collapse. "Tasha, recall all TIE Interceptors and tell the Defenders that are with those unusual X-Wings to get their hyperspace coordinates from them!" he snaps. "And move the fleet along their vector."
“Aye, sir!” Tasha replies.

Soon enough, most of the ships have jumped to the D'Qar System. But, damaged vessels are lost when Starkiller Base explodes.
