They eventually find the dying bulk freighter drifting closer and closer to Onderon's sun. The survivors are extracted to safety before the hulk starts to burn. Garr is missing her right forearm from a bulkhead exploding near her during the attack on Requiem base. She managed to stop the bleeding by tightening her belt around the stump. But she is now about to pass out from pain.
"Kari... you... you came back." stammers Garr before blacking out.

Kari smiles sadly. "That was a little too close for comfort," she says to herself.
"You all right, Kari?" Keith asks as he walks up to her, causing her to jump slightly.
"You nearly gave me a frakkin' heart attack, Keith!" Kari snaps, covering the fact that he startled her. "As for your question, I don't know."

Keith hugs Kari to try and comfort her.
"Garr is a tough old bird. She will pull through this. I hope you don't let her down by falling into despair. You must be strong, for your, her, and us." Keith says.

"I do know that I will be very happy to be back in my home!" Kari says more lightly.
Keith nods, having been in the garage level that had been the warehouse portion of the building. "Daxx and Vallen described the upper floors of your building pretty well," Keith says. "Would've liked to have had a tour, but I guess that can wait."

"Actually, I suggest you and Kari go to her place for that tour, Keith. As soon as we reach Onderon, that its." says Daxx. "Vallen and I will stay at the hospital to watch over and protect Garr should any Imps come snooping. Kari, you might want to pack up your belongings. Chances are we're bugging out for good once the wounded can be safely moved off planet."

OOC: They haven't landed on Onderon yet.
IC: "Don't tell me that I wasted 215,000 credits on my place, Daxx," Kari barks. "Dammit, my place was perfect! Besides, Daxx, I'm legally clean, and you know it!"

OOC: Sorry, my mind is haze-y today. Head aches do that to me.
IC: "Alright. Kari, you and Keith can stay here, just stay out of trouble." says Daxx. "Vallen and I will see that Garr can continue the fight against the Empire."

OOC: Okay, let's stop the game for now on your next turn. See you on Monday when we pick up again, and I hope you get to feeling better.
IC: "Don't do anything stupid, Daxx, Vallen," Kari says, pulling Daxx into a hug. "and I think the local CEC dealership ought to be your next stop. Just offer him a hundred grand for an Action VI in excellent condition and his silence and you should be on your way with very few problems. That said, I'm going to miss you, you incorrigible womp rat!"

"I'm going to miss you as well." says Daxx. "We will stay in touch though. Should you ever decide to marry Keith or someone else, contact us."

"Remember when we dealt with Fritz Holden?" Kari asks. "I seem to recall having to bail you and Vallen out of trouble." Daxx blanches. "I thought we agreed to never discuss that incident again!" he complains, with Vallen nodding agreement. OOC: Decided to turn dealing with Holden into a 'Noodle Incident'. They quickly conclude the deal as Kari had suggested and find themselves the proud owners of an Action VI-class transport.
OOC: Marcus, they're your characters, so you get to name the ship.

Daxx and Vallen quickly load the Requiem Base survivors aboard the Stalking Sandpanther, which had been modified with a small medbay, including a pair of bacta tanks, one of which now holds Garr Tevan.
OOC: There's a reason the ship cost 50,000 credits, with the other fifty grand going to making sure the dealer doesn't talk...

OOC: Maybe Kari could escort them to the edge of the system?
IC: Daxx is in the medbay while Vallen pilots the Stalking Sandpanther.

Kari and Keith pilot the Silverwind alongside the Stalking Sandpanther as she leaves Onderon orbit and flash their ship's running lights in a formal salute before banking away to return to Onderon as the Action VI makes the jump to Hyperspace, leaving Onderon for what seems to be last time.
OOC: Got the idea of flashing the running lights as a salute from the Honorverse novels where it is a visual range salute that is rarely exchanged, because starships in that universe don't usually get that close to each other, in the Star Wars universe, of course, it's a different matter entirely. We both know that Daxx, Vallen, and Company will be back when Kari and Keith finally tie the knot shortly after the Battle of Endor.

"It seems to be the end of history..." says Vallen from the cockpit.
"Never the end, my dear." responds Daxx over the comlink. "History always finds a way to continue."
Back on the planet Onderon, several other survivors from Requiem Base have opted to stay behind and help Kari with her new enterprise.

Kari moves quickly to secure a commercial docking bay for her business once she returns from escorting the Stalking Sandpanther, instead of loading the Silverwind in the garage of her home. Keith Rogan gets his tour of Kari's spacious and comfortable living quarters.
